• Elwood is just going about his usual routine in the womb when he overhears his parents talking about his sister.

• Wait, what? He didn’t know he had a sister! He thought he was the first!

• He panics and tells Umbert, who is just as surprised.

• Elwood starts overthinking—maybe she’s some long-lost princess, a genius scientist, or worse… what if she doesn’t like him?

2. Learning About Beatrix

• Through more eavesdropping (or maybe Vita digs up some information), Elwood learns that Beatrix is nine years old and has been in boarding school.

• He starts imagining what kind of person she is—maybe he thinks she’s super fancy and doesn’t care about him.

• The idea of being a second child makes him feel unimportant.

3. The First Contact

• One night, Elwood has a dream where he sees Beatrix for the first time.

• She’s… surprisingly normal! She’s not a princess or a scientist—just a regular girl with a big personality.

• Beatrix is just as shocked to learn about Elwood. “You mean I have a baby brother who isn’t even born yet? That’s crazy!”

• They start talking, and she tells him what boarding school is like. She admits she sometimes felt lonely being away from home.

4. The Conflict
